Norma Goldstein, Ph.D., Dean Shoreline Community College

Educated at Wesleyan University and Connecticut College, Dr. Goldstein earned her Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Rhode Island. She is Dean of Humanities at Shoreline Community College, heading up the 300 staff member department and managing its multi-million dollar budget. She is known to bicycle the 15 miles to and from work, and regularly tackles the 90-minute killer aerobics classes at the gym.

Terry Moeymont, videos for websites
Terry Moyemont, Videographer, Photographer

Educated as a videographer at the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois (Urbana), and the University of Illinois (Chicago), Terry Moyemont has directed and produced videos of dance performances, documentaries, and numerous demo pieces for artists such as Dale Chihuly and Italian sculptor Salvatore Cipolla.

His documentary productions include an award-winning piece on the work and lives of Czech glass artists Stanislav Libensky and Jaroslava Brychtova. He has received major funding for his projects, over the years, from the Illinois and Montana Arts Councils, the Joyce Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the John D. and Catherine T. Mac Arthur Foundation.

Terry Moyemont has also been photographing landscapes and gardens for 50 years, and has exhibited photos in Illinois, Michigan, Montana, California, and Washington.

In recent years his work has appeared in magazines such as Seattle Homes and Lifestyles; Pacific Horticulture; Northwest Home and Garden; Garden Design; and Sunset.

His work is also published in Lady Susana Walton’s book on her garden, La Mortella and in Will Giles’ new Encyclopedia of Exotic Plants for Temperate Climates (Timber Press, 2007).
